Company History
Founded in 1985 as the controls and integration division
of Electro-Techniques, Inc., an industrial electrical contracting
firm, we incorporated in 1998 as a separate entity named Control
Dynamics, Inc. Our ability to provide inclusive turn-key controls
integration to our core markets has resulted in many satisfied
customers in West Michigan as well as the United States.
Mission Statement
We will meet each client's requirements for quality
automation system design and implementation through innovation
and diligence. We will strive to maintain a corporate
environment that ensures the success of our employees
by expanding the opportunities for professional and personal
growth.
Strategy Statement
Practices founded on biblical principles will ensure
the success of our relationship with clients, employees
and vendors. Guidelines for operation include: providing
a quality product at a fair price; guaranteeing our work;
doing what is right to maintain relationships; settling
disputes quickly; paying bills promptly; paying fair
wages to employees; and investing in people, training
and technology to continuously improve our practices.

CDI's Business Development Officer Appointed Senior Examiner
to the 2008 Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award's Board
of Examiners!
Daniel J. Kallman, Business Development Officer for Control
Dynamics, Inc., has been appointed Senior Examiner to the 2008
Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality
Award.
As an examiner, Mr. Kallman is responsible for reviewing and
evaluating applications submitted for the Award. The board is
composed of approximately 500 leading experts selected from
industry, professional and trade organizations, education and
health care organizations and government.
Those selected meet the highest standards of qualification and
peer recognition. All members of the board must take part in
a preparation course based on the Baldrige Criteria for Performance
Excellence and the scoring and evaluation processes for the
Baldrige Award.
The Award, created by public law in 1987, is the highest level
of national recognition for performance excellence that a U.S.
organization can receive. Awards may be given annually in each
of six categories: Manufacturing, Service, Small Business, Education,
Health Care, and Non-profit. Awards have been presented to 74
organizations to date.
Daniel is one of only one of 500 Examiners in the world who
are chosen to be on the board. We are proud to have him on the
CDI Team!
